Teamwork

After reading the book Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, students had to brainstorm how the main character, Brian, had changed from when the plane first crashed to later on when Brian had been in the wilderness for several weeks.  They could not just state the obvious, such as physical changes. They also needed to think about and cite emotional changes  Students chose their groups and have gotten to work on creating a life-sized Brian BEFORE and AFTER the plane crash!
