Read Across America Day

We were fortunate today to have Christoper Hanafin, the director of Burlington Veterans Services, read to our homeroom.  He read the moving book Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood.  After, Mr. Hanafin explained what he did in the marines and how he served our country, and what he does now for our town as the director of Veterans Services.  The students were interested in everything Mr. Hanafin explained and asked great questions!
