Visit from Senator Ed Markey's Office
Congressional staff member to Senator Ed Markey, Kate Machet, read to us for Dr. Seuss' Read Across America Day! After she read a Dr. Seuss book, she explained what her job is as a Congressional staffer, as well as what Senator Markey does as our U.S. Senator in Washington, D.C. The students asked great questions and Mrs. Machet was such an engaging speaker!
