Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

E.L.A
We spent some time on Tuesday talking about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  We watched part of his "I Have A Dream" speech, read a book about him, and discussed what he meant by "having a dream". Although Dr. King accomplished a lot in his short life, the world continues to not be perfect.  After students thought about dreams that they have for the world, country, town, or home. They did a Think, Pair, Share activity. Then they picked the topic they thought was most important and wrote a paragraph on how they can make a difference.
